Saker Studio is a full-service interior design studio specializing in luxury residential and hospitality projects. Based out of Austin, TX, Katherine Hunsaker founded the studio in 2024 with an intent to sculpt spaces full of originality and character. 

 

The studio assists in all phases of a project from start to finish, including concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, and everything in between.

With a background in art & design, Katherine takes pride in crafting spaces that are authentic and personalized to each client. She values beauty equally to function and demonstrates this in her work. What sets Katherine apart is her past and present life as a painter, lending her an artistic perspective hard to find elsewhere. Having worked at architecture and interior design studios for the past 5 years, Katherine believes that the best spaces derive from the holistic integration of both design and architecture working together in harmony.

Katherine graduated from Parsons with an interior design degree in 2021 and from Vanderbilt with a creative writing degree in 2018.
